Invitation: Friday Afternoon Discussion

Last year, several graduate students met on Fridays to discuss academic issues raised in class for 1 hour. The purpose was to provide a forum for synthesizing the bits and pieces picked up during the week, as well as further pursue issues which came up in class but were tabled due to time constraints.

I propose that we have a similar discussion this year, at 1:30pm in the graduate lounge. The theme of our first discussion will be intention in Aquinas, especially as it relates to moral acts (see, for example ST I-II Q1 A2-4). The topic is subject to change.
